Happy Columbus Day

Happy Columbus Day! Note the applique on Tate's jon jon. Did I say I was going to stop dressing him for the holidays when he turned 1? Oops. I meant 2. So I have two more weeks...

Does "jon jon" mean "overalls"?

And holy cow, I am catching up on facebook after being in Orlando for five days and you have had quite a week!! Poor thing. Hope Isaac is doing OK.

Hmm. I thought a John John was a Kennedy--not clothes! What does a Yankee know?

He looks so old! Like he is ready to start Kindergarten! I guess Disney turns you into a man.

I think it's his haircut and the very "Rob" look on his face that makes him look old:) that's for Rob...maybe he'll READ that! Seriously Jenny, can you believe my sweet Gwen took Isaac out!? That's my girl:)

OK, random comments:

The term Jon Jon actually comes from the outfits that John John Kennedy wore.

Yes, Tate looks old. It freaked me out, too...Freaked me out that he looked that old and had on a jon jon.

Wall Street Journal had an article this weekend about the holiday being politically incorrect. I apologize for anyone I offended.

Someone at work today pointed out that the scene could also be the Mayflower. At first I became worried that I had put him in a holiday-inappropriate outfit. But then I realized that it actually meant he can wear it AGAIN on Thanksgiving! Awesome.
