Elvis lives

Today is the anniversary of the King's "alleged" death. In Memphis it is celebrated with a week of activities known as Death Week. (OK, the official name is "Elvis Week," but everyone in Memphis calls it Death Week.)

We couldn't let this holiday pass without a tribute. We've been listening to Elvis and eating peanut butter and banana sandwiches in his honor. (Peanut butter for me, bananas for Tate).

Practicing his Elvis moves.

I am starting a savings account for Tate's future therapy costs. If you would like to donate, please send a check payable to "Help Tate".

Shut up with Tate and his Elvis onesie! And, is that an Elvis pillow? Perhaps one of those cut and stuff pillow squares from the fabric store? I think your family is one of the funniest group of folk ever assembled.

Is the King picking his nose? Or is that his "putting the mike to his mouth" impression? I'm just saying..

Since he is impersonating the King, then yes, that is a mic to his mouth. If I had said he were impersonating Big Guy, he would have been picking his nose

Yeah well, remember, I have a crazy BIL who is an Elvis impersonator. Wonder what he is doing for death week?

Ang- that is crazy that you met my friend! What a small world! So do you normally ask everyone you meet if they know me? I guess it is possible that everyone would know me, I'm kind of a big deal.

I'm sad you didn't get reusable and trimable stick on sideburns. The exist, you know.

I love that Elvis Tate is celebrating death week. I love it that you have numerous Elvis props. I love it that NAN thinks she's a big deal - she's clearly not old enough to be a big deal.

Oh, don't worry about the sideburns Sarah.... We have them and they will be coming out at Halloween.

Thank you for not letting me down. Your family has a high standard of funny to maintain.
