A Day Out With Thomas

Amid partisan bickering over healthcare and crazy, rotten weather, we all could use a little Day Out with Thomas...

So, was it super crazy? Was it worth it? I really wanted to take Big L since he is obsessed with the freakin', stupid train but we had family in town both weekends. I might have gone crazy with the crowds and all anyway. It looks like Tate had fun though! : ) I'm sure N.A.N. was disappointed that there were no big games on that day to score her Rob's ticket!!!!!

Yep, it was crazy crowded, but we went on the last day and the weather was beautiful, so we expected the crowd. Tate liked it a lot (he looks so pensive in these pics, but he was taking it all in). We didn't do everything because the lines were so stinkin long. Do it next year and Landon will like it even more. (although you'll have a baby girl then -- yes, GIRL -- so maybe not..).

You are right! That is the only way I ever get to do cool things.

And just why is Tommy blue rather than red like most patriot Americans?? I imagine that smirk on his face is because he knows he's taking $15 a piece from hard working folks just to back up the track a mile or so.. another socialist plot no doubt...

:)

P.S. the weather was lovely wasn't it.

Ah Big Guy, Tommy is British, didn't you know? He comes comes from the land of government healthcare. Of course he's Blue and not Red.

And yes, the weather was lovely. I wish we had shots of Mia and Big Guy with the Tot.

In Dec. 2008, the UK started a program to reduce the average wait time for seeing a doctor to 18 weeks. Most doctors feel this goal is unattainable.

There is no wait however for emergencies (e.g. heart attack). They let you die immediately.

:)

PS. the weather sux in England

Big Guy, the weather DOES suck in England...having been there twice in January, it was f*&king cold! Just sayin'...as for all of the funny witty banter about politics...can we just say that I'm STILL confused about the healthcare thing...AND, I HATE THOMAS...those shows make me want to take a bat to the TV...seriously!
